Joshua has taught Master Class Workshops in New York City and Philadelphia, teaching SEROS Technique

He has been hired to teach by Broadway Dance Center in New York City, Backstage Studio in Las Vegas, Kansas State University as a Guest Artist, and for master classes through Pro Master Class. Mr. Carlson has also taught in Studio settings throughout the US. He has taught and adjudicated for American Dance Awards, ADA and Dance Educators of America, DEA.

One of his favorite teaching experiences was with Jana Marshall at MGM Studio of the Dance in Wichita, Kansas.
